An antique gem-set necklace comprised of S-shaped ruby, emerald, and diamond links terminating in a jardinière-style pendant, with a cable-link back-chain, in 18k. The gem-set portion is Georgian dating from 1840, with indistinct English maker's mark and date stamp. The backchain is French with the aigle poinçon dating from the 1870s.
